John has a passion for helping clients achieve their goals. He is committed to the financial planning process in discovering client’s goals and objectives and presenting solutions that may help in achieving those goals and objectives. Implementation of these solutions and ongoing monitoring and meeting with clients is necessary as we adapt to life’s changes. Both a commitment to excellence and having a teacher’s heart are keys to maintaining his client relationships as he helps clients to fully understand the financial decisions they are making.  John often incorporates a fee based model rather than a commission based model when guiding clients through the investment process.

John enjoys assisting with retirement planning including IRA s and Roth IRAs as well as educational planning for children and grandchildren. He has a desire to help seniors transition from employment to retirement and guide them in relation to their retirement savings, long term care needs, and social security.   Living in Jackson and having been in the industry for nearly 30 years, John has a network of professionals to help assist clients with many of their financial needs including CPAs, Estate Planning Attorneys, Insurance Agents, and Mortgage Lenders.

John is a member of Pear Orchard Presbyterian Church along with his wife Margaret and their two children, Anne Clark and Jack. Margaret teaches math at Jackson Preparatory School where Jack attends.  Anne Clark is attending the University of Mississippi.  John's pastimes include road biking,  helping his children with their activities, and cheering on the LSU Tigers!
